席琳狄翁暌違10年再訪亞洲，她出道37年，唱過1900場以上的演唱會，榮登全球舉辦過最多正式演唱會的歌手。她在歌壇稱后，其他領域也積極涉足，投資與副業有聲有色，讓她總是在歌手身家排行榜名列前茅。
席琳狄翁在音樂經紀人、也是後來的老公雷尼安傑利（Rene Angelil）支持下，13歲發行首張個人專輯。她唱紅迪士尼電影《美女與野獸》同名主題曲後，1991年3月首度嘗試戲劇演出，在加拿大SRC電視台的喜劇影集《Des fleurs sur la neige》（Flowers on the snow）擔綱女主角，飾演來自受虐家庭的年輕女孩「Elisa Trudel」。可惜這部席琳唯一的戲劇作品、只有4集的影集當時只在加拿大播出，現在已難找到網路影片。
《富比世》雜誌統計，席琳的身家至少4億美元（約122億台幣），不只歌唱收入，還握有與納基斯家族合作的Schwartz餐廳，也和老公安傑利在魁北克購買「Le Mirage Carolina」高爾夫球場，更是連鎖餐廳「Nickels」創始人之一。
2003年，她與美容產品公司「Coty,Inc」合作，創立「Celine Dion Parfums」香水品牌，隔年，她與嬰兒攝影師安妮蓋德斯（Anne Geddes）一起創作《奇蹟：新生活的慶典》圖畫書，3年後，她與中國主持人企業家楊瀾，在北京發表聯手打造頂級鑽石品牌「HV Love」，晉身珠寶設計師。2016年初老公安傑利和哥哥丹尼爾相繼罹癌過世，雙重打擊讓原本就成立「席琳狄翁基金會」的她更致力慈善工作。

台南市消防局今（28）日上午假永康區第五大隊舉行災情勘查車1輛捐贈儀式，由消防局副局長楊宗林接受並頒發感謝獎牌，感謝銘慧盛興業公司董事長陳重義造福人群的善行義舉。
陳重義夫婦貢獻社會的愛藏存於心中幾十年，今年恰逢結婚50周年，於情人節日子辦理捐贈更添加喜氣。將平日省下用來慶祝的花費熱心公益、回饋鄉里，在得知南市消防局缺乏災情勘查車執行各項消防救災勤務下。
陳重義夫婦本著取之於社會、用之於社會的大愛化做實際行動，特捐贈性能較佳、配備精良之災情勘查車1輛，價值約170萬元，配備有LED警示燈、警報器、無線電等裝備，配置於本市消防局第五大隊，可進行各種災害搶救、災情查看回報等功用，此舉不僅充實本市消防救災車輛，強化災害搶救之效能，更是社會楷模、義行典範，並期許接棒的兒女們能熱心公益再捐助1號、2號...以持續充實消防救災車輛。
為提升救災效能，同時亦感念消防局消防及義消同仁日以繼夜、不眠不休為保障本市民眾生命財產而努力，希望藉此拋磚引玉，帶領更多民間力量之展現，喚起社會善心人士及公益團體更多之善行。
為了維持良好的救災品質，除了需要精湛的技術外，亦需要性能良好的災情勘查車，能讓救災人員在第一時間內到達救災地點，以提高救災品質，讓民眾享有更好的救災服務與生命保障，使社會充滿愛及希望，也表達回饋鄉里、不忘本的經營理念。
